Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Order Processing

We process all orders within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after we receive payment authorization. Orders placed after 12:00 PM IST may move to the next business day for processing. We send an email confirmation or WhatsApp once we process your order and hand it over to our shipping partner.

2. Shipping Areas & Carriers

  • We currently ship orders throughout India.
  • We are partners with reputable national courier services such as Blue Dart, Trackon, Delhivery, DTDC, and India Post to deliver your orders. The specific carrier for your order is chosen at our discretion based on serviceability and efficiency to your location.

3. Shipping Timeframes & Costs

Shipping timelines begin after your order has been processed and picked up by the carrier.

  • Estimated Delivery Timelines:
    • Metro & Major Cities: 3-5 business days.
    • Rest of India: 5-10 business days.
  • Please Note: These are estimates only. Delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including carrier delays, weather conditions, remote locations, and customs clearance (if applicable). During festive seasons or sale periods, processing and delivery times may be longer.
  • Shipping Costs: We calculate shipping charges at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight. From time to time, we offer free shipping on orders above a specified value, which we clearly advertise on the website.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a second email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking portal. You can use this information to monitor the progress of your delivery.
You can also view your order status and tracking information by logging into your account on our Site.

5. Delivery Details & Instructions

  • Address Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided is complete and accurate. We are not liable for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect addresses. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
  • Delivery Attempts: Our carriers will typically make 1-2 delivery attempts. If delivery fails, a notification will be left, and the package may be held at a local carrier facility for pickup or returned to us.
  • Unclaimed Orders: If a customer does not claim an order or the courier marks it as undeliverable and returns it to us, we may apply a restocking fee. In such cases, we will issue a refund after deducting the original and return shipping charges.

6. Delivery Issues (Lost, Damaged, or Not Received)

We take great care in packaging our candles to ensure they arrive safely. However, if your order arrives damaged, gets lost in transit, or shows as “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date.

  • Please email us at info@scentedcandlesonline.in with your order number and details/photos of the issue.
  • We will work with the shipping carrier to initiate an investigation and resolve the issue promptly, in line with our Return & Refund Policy.
  • Please inspect your package upon delivery. Refusal of a delivery due to external box damage may delay the resolution process.
